I think a lot of the track guys/racers use them since its easier getting the bike up on them by yourself.

I have no expierence with them personally so I cant say

I get my bike up with the rear facing handle by myself. It's not tough.

Same here. I did drop it over on the side when I was in a hurry one day though. Didn't mess anything up, but pissed me off.

I once dropped my Zuk twice, once on each side, within 5 minutes of each other while I was cleaning it. I was so pissed off.

don tuse handy stands it could happen more often

dropped my track bike getting it elevated with the front stand that goes into the fork tubes
