I had a squidly moment on Sunday. I came onto the highway. A silver ferrari passed me, I passed him, then before I knew it, the speedo is reading 120mph.. WTF??

Then the adult voice inside my head kicked in, and I backed off and let him continue on his run.

There's your problem! Your speedo should have been reading 193kph!

I did that the other day getting on the freeway - except it was a dude making googly eyes at me at the stop light. Light turns green and he tries to show off in his car and stomps on it and peels out to get on the on ramp. My inner squid took over my right hand and I was over 100mph and he was a speck in my mirrors before MY brain kicked back in again and backed it off. he caught up to me and made more gestures (um - does that really work for ANY dudes on here - lewd gestures at random women???)

You should make your avatar into a sticker and put it on his window.

Yes they actually do! Some women appreciate the directness and honesty of the lewd gesture.

165mph...06ZX10r....stock that thing flew and the Dunlop Qualifers were smooth are fucking hell. Once I put BT003s and did suspension work (including jacking up the rear) the thing would wobble at anything over 135mph.

My 600rr shakes over 140 with the race tires....I'm not sure how the AMA or the GP rider bikes get smooth over 140mph. Whenever I change to race tires and adjust the suspension the bike wobbles at high speed. Street tires never do.

It may be worth finding someone else to do your setup work. If anything the bike should feel more stable as speeds increase. My R6 felt like a missile at 160.

Sounds like your tires weren't balanced right. Or if they were takeoffs, maybe they got flat-spotted.

I saw an indicated 155 3 or 4x when I rode through Utah.
