I don't understand. There was an actual effort to get everyone together in one place, and now one of the first things they want to do is seperate themselves off into an area they can hide out in? Seems counter productive to getting people to join a mass exodus as a community just to create the same environment from the place they all left. Never understood the point of the Cycle Angels thing anyway.

No, no, there's just been a few who've asked... If it's important to a lot of people to have a separate area, then we might do it. But overwhelmingly it seems no one does, so we'll all just remain one happy dysfunctional family!

As posted in another thready somewhere, I'd be afraid it would pretty much be two seperate forums, and that's just not cool.

Personally I like having a section where females can discuss women issues (for example infertility) without folks making jokes about a serious issue.

Wouldn't another perspective on the situation also be welcome? If a couple is trying to have a baby and they're dealing with issues of infertility (per your example), wouldn't a guy who's been through such things offer a different perspective? If they're trying to have a kid, there's two sides to it, both with unique challenges, especially in terms of infertility. Maybe the girl thinks he's shooting blanks and she casually throws out some symptom that another guy on the forum happens to recognize through personal experience, and he recommends a course of action, a medical procedure, or medication, that solves the problem because the original couple's doctor misdiagnosed it.

When you limit the available input by shutting out half the population, you miss out on points of view that differ from the selected group (general "you", not you in particular).
