There are some decent twisties on LI but for anything good you need to hit bear mtn and further north. So far so good here lot of thunder but not much wind and little or no rain so far. radar has the nasty parts staying south of here. Looks like queens, BK and Long Island will get pummeled though. tom |

funny you should mention that - I rode in this morning and while I was in the office the sky opened up. I rode home before it got any worse after looking at the weather - in mesh gear

Sounds like my ride home from work yesterday, high winds and lightning in heavy down pour, took shelter at an auto parts store waited 10 minutes or so for it to pass on by, completely soaked and wet once home
