Granted its probably news sensationalism, but I will refer to my earlier statement about my pre-concieved notions about the folks I know that live in that neighborhood and why they own dogs like that. Dog fighting is cool, its a hobby and a way of life, and even if he wasnt into dog fighting, having a vicious dog is cool and gets respect

I blame the owners. I know the neigborhood (here comes the racist in me), i grew up there, well the next neigborhood over anyway. Remember the crown heights riots of the early 90s?
