Nobody would, but who would be harmed more by such a tax rate, the rich or the poor?
This country has had a progressive tax rate for, what, 100 years at least? So the fact that the rich have more of the burden is nothing new.
You guys act like a flat tax or a consumption tax would help rein in government spending. LOL, they'd just set it at a level that actually INCREASES the amount they rake in.
And you'd be the ones to blame, because you voted for them and didn't do shit to stop them.
