Made me think of the ending to the movie "American Beauty" when the tough azz ex military father beat/abused his son because he 'thought' he was gay and then tried to kiss Kevin Spacey himself.
He then took a gun and shot Spacey in the back of the head. Yeah I know...different but this is what it reminded me of.
He was so against his son being gay and then showed signs of it himself.
