Looking at the map, it seems that the "damage" lies not necessarily in "Liberal" states, just states in which people actually fucking care to LIVE.

All the "healthier" states in white on that chart are places no one would ever even want to fucking visit. What most of us folks who live in the populated states like to call "flyover" territory.
