Ditto, I HATE carrying extra crap around, so I opted for the 1000, had it on order for months. LOVE IT. Other than its ridiculous heaviness.

See above, its great for everything, but the weight takes some adjusting to.
Kell, most people look like a dork hitting up the turns. Half the time I get pictures I am biting my bottom lip and look like a damn chipmunk. Its ok, really.
