I was riding another members Hayabusa Turbo here and my wife was riding his Ducati 999r last year heading back to his house returning from Laconia Bike Week in NH and got hit by a torrential downpour !!! We had no issues but it was a little unnerving to be riding someone else's machines. I was worried about the wife riding in this too but again...no issues.

Right on. I'd be nervous on someone else's bike in the rain. I dont particularly like riding other people's bikes at all, much less in adverse conditions.
