I already went down that road. Those were my first pair of boots. I hate the fat toebox on them. It was impossible to get my shifter adjusted enough so I could get those Frankenstein boots under it. I wore them once, and sold them on Ebay.
No doubt, they're protective. But, if I can't ride my bike on them, what's the point?
