I'm actually looking forward to the weather and the smaller population. It's definitely what both of us want. I like the cold, but am happy it's not a place where it's snow all winter. I don't know if I could deal with that. 30s-50s, that's nice to me...can still ride, go mtn biking, whatever...just gotta be dressed for it. If South Florida had nice winter temps all year, I might feel differently...like today...72 and breezy...that's nice! But by next week it's gonna be back in the 80s and humid. 8 months out of the year are gonna be fuckin' AMAZING for riding! While we only seem to ride at the track down here, we might never go to the track up there...totally switched.
Lack of population is gonna be great. Weaverville (where the house is) has a population of about 3000 people. Asheville is around 100K. That's probably about 25K people less than Coral Springs alone! I'm tired of being surrounded by people...tired of the traffic...tired of the attitudes and bullshit the people down here have.
Everybody wants different things. A lot of people we know have also lived elsewhere, but I've been here my whole life, and Ali's been here for 20 years. We're both really looking forward to the change!

Guess I should have said there and there, or up in that area.
