What one area of riding is your achilles heel?
What one riding skill seems to be that achilles heel for you? It's that area where you have to most room for growth or that area that you find mentally intimidating.
In general for me, I've noticed that I'm much more aggressive with left handed corners than right handers. It could partially due to the roads I typically ride, BUT I know a part is attributed to me not feeling as comfortable/confident I guess as I do on a left hander. This is something that I want to work on this riding season. My disclaimer: each ride out I'm looking to improve upon all aspects of riding. But when I come home and reflect upon the days ride, I usually can recall some right hander that I "bitched up on" |
Right handers here, also. Also going into corners a little hot and not looking through the corner, fixating on what's in front of me.

Late braking. Riding a V-twin I use WAY too much engine brake, not near enough front brake. That is track riding anyway.

Im with Cutty, on a v-twin, its braking. My rc51 would lock up the rear when you geared down, got used to sliding it into turns with compression. The harley is the same (thank fuck, because the brakes suck), theres a ton of engine breaking, so if its not an emergency, you can stop in lots of time.

DEER!!! I can't get over the feeling that one of those furry motherfuckers are around EVERY curve or hiding behind every bush!!!

Being new to riding, I have plenty I need to work on. But, if it's one thing in particular I hate right now it would be blind curves and the like. Hills that hide cars and other obstacles etc.

I'm decent on the brakes, and the slipper clutch helps(and is awesome!!) i could be a little quicker in the LEFT handers
