Chaz Davies to Aprillia

Looks good on him. Seems like a good kid. He'll be running a RSV1000R in the Sportbike class at Daytona.

I saw this and have know of the KWS team for a while. My question is that I am confused about the classes. Isn't Daytona Sportbike supposed to the the old Formula Extreme rules? How are they gonna squeeze in a liter twin? Or is that class teh same as the old literbike Superstock rules?

I've stopped trying to figure out what PMP does with rules. Colin's logic just gets my head spinning. Spec tires. Spec FUEL! I like Superpole, but then again that wasn't originally his idea. He just adapted it.

Sportbike is a replacement for FX and is somehow supposed to include large displacement twins. I can't figure out how, because the rulebook doesn't seem to say what is eligible for what.

I think a well prepped RSV or Duc 848 would own that kinda series. Honda can build a damn fast 600 Xtreme and Yamaha has the bits if they wanted to and were so inclined, but i guess we will wait and see...Maybe this is Pegrams year:idk:

Aprilia seems to be assaulting AMA pretty hard this year. Steve Rapp is also on the RSVR.
