They don't even try to hide their abuses of power. But we can rest easy, knowing the TSA is keeping us safe from in-flight corkscrewings...

if airlines wouldn't charge ridiculous amounts for checked bags, and you know NOT LOSE THEM, people wouldn't try to carry on such ridiculous things.

I dunno... but it makes me want to buy some of those scissors by the lb and pack a fucking suitcase full of them to see if I can make it through security.

Not confiscating a plastic sword in the first place would be a damn fine start.

They could try shoving it up their collective ass, then disbanding. The TSA's very existence flies in the face of the 4th Amendment.

The Homeland Security Agency didn't need to be created either, but the Bush Admin had to act like they were doing something, I guess....
