Another Headset Thread
I know we have discussed this in about 4 threads or more now but im being really picky and im not sure what i want. There really are so many to choose from.
The F4 from Blueant Now im sure this is a quality piece of equipment. I have a Bluetooth ear piece made by them and its awesome. http://www.myblueant.com/products/he...e/f4/index.php The Parrot SK4000 Never heard of this brand or model before but the wireless remote is kind of nice. Im not sure about the Quality of the product though http://www.parrot.com/usa/products/motorcyclekits The Chatterbox XBi2 Seems like is kind of like the Scala Q2 cause it lacks a lot of features http://www.chatterboxusa.com/cbxbi2fkit.html The Chatterbox X1 I very much like the extended distance but im not sure its really necessary. http://www.chatterboxusa.com/cbx1btfkit.html J&M Seems a little behind the pack when it comes to the rest http://www.jmcorp.com/SeeProducts.asp?PF=30 The Sena SMH10 The Jog wheel is a very nice feature and makes this decision har http://www.senabluetooth.com/ d Cardo Scala Rider G4 Has just about everything i need. http://www.cardosystems.com/us/scala...scala-rider-g4 Cardo Scala Rider Q2 This lacks A2DP which is a must so its out in my book http://www.cardosystems.com/us/scala...scala-rider-q2 . They all have their advantages and they all have their unique features. But idk if anyone has talked about the Blueant or the Parrot. I know we have discussed the Chatterbox, J&M, Sena and Cardo's but does anyone know anything about those 2? Anyways. For me i think it comes down to the Blueant F4, Sena, and Cardo G4. the only reason i wouldn't get the Cardo would be ease of use with gloves on and the same goes for the F4. And The only reason i wouldn't get the Sena would be because of the lack of communication distance and that goes for the F4 as well. Thats 2 strikes against the F4 so I think im going to eliminate that for my choices and now its down to the Cardo and the Sena and they both are very appealing to me. 2 of my friends have the Cardo Q2 and the G4 is compatible so that makes me want the G4. But because the Cardo is $280 for a single set and the Sena is $219 for a single set it makes the decision even harder. Im not sure what i should buy But either way ill know ill be satisfied. |
Sena, yeah I am biased.

BTW if you have friends with the Scala headsets that you want to talk to, I'm not sure why there was any confusion...I went with J&M only because I wanted a very heavy duty headset, coed, unit set-up and they have that. I've gone through far to many headsets in the past 10 years or so. |

And the J&M has COED functionality? Which one is you you have again? |
I dunno, just from what has been said here the sena is far and above the better system, especially since it has the on bike charger. My biggest problem with wireless headsets is that the ones I have used all go dead at the wrong time, the ability to to charge on the go is a huge plus
