Screw You Mother Nature

34 degrees and snowing outside. I decided to go take the new Tourmaster suit for a test spin:

Tourmaster Transition Series 2 Jacket

Tourmaster Caliber Pants

Icon Pursuit Gloves

I came home covered in slush from head to toe. Inside, I was completely dry. The only thing that got cold on me were my toes and the tips of my fingers.

Short of heated gloves or grips, I'm not sure what else I can do with my hands. I was wearing Icon Pursuit gloves (waterproof & insulated) with fleece glove liners.

My boots are cheap Fly MX boots. There's no insulation in them, and I was not wearing any insulated socks.

Heated grips are the bestest. To save you from hating me I won't tell you about my ride today...

Nice bike!

I have to get my digs in at this time of year to make up for the temporary relocation of H-E-Double Hockeysticks during late July-August... ;)

Good point, so I guess that dry heat they talk about isnt all its cracked up to be.

It's gonna be just over 60F tomorrow....can't decide if I'm gonna ride or not. I have a 60F cutoff from riding in the canyons.

When it's over 60, I don't put on my longjohns. Today was 57, but felt like 47 so I wore them. Had to break in my new tires today. I always say I'm not going to wait until the tire's bald before I get new tires, but I always do. This is my front Pirelli Sport Demon before and after.

And jtemple, we would love to have some of your snow and rain. I don't know how it skips over us and goes to Nebraska.

The dry heat is fine and easy to take. Its when a low pressure system comes and pumps humidity up from the Gulf that things get less than wonderful... :idk:

Yes. I've already put on more street miles than I have at home in two years.

When my tires get like that, I make believe that they are really slicks
