Uma riding her Nightster

Met up with the wife for lunch and got a couple pics of her rolling on her scoot. She looks good and surely enjoying herself.

badass, I take it she liked the mirrors down conversion?

Gas Man 08-15-2010 05:29 PM

She's use to them... they are ok now... they will ROCK once I get her new bars installed. Waiting on a brake line...

KSGregman 08-15-2010 07:09 PM

That bike BEGS for a drag bar.....IMHO

SteveP 08-15-2010 09:44 PM

I did a run on one of those in Daytona for the demo rides. What a fun scoot.

sfarson 08-16-2010 01:54 AM

The smile says it all. And the bike is sweet too.

looks good... glad she's out riding again.

smileyman 08-16-2010 09:07 AM

Time for her to shoot a proggressive commercial! Awesome ride/rider!

It really is. I also upgraded the O2 sensors so it's a fun as hell bike.

The mirrors down requires nothing but flipping them from side to side and remounting them.

The relocator talks about all this re-wiring... I didn't have to do anything like that.... just bolted them up and poof. DONE

It's a good looking bike in any event...and she looks like she is having fun and is happy riding it...that's the important thing.

Good on her. :rockwoot:

Rangerscott 08-16-2010 11:53 PM

I like those models. Not really liking the crash bars on it, but function over looks any day.

really? I was looking at hers but it looked like the mirrors would hit the turn signals if I just flipped them. I did think about swapping the mirrors but they still looked like they would hit. Gonna have to look again I guess.
hers is the 883 Iron but I think it's exactly the same layout as the nightster.

Gas Man 08-17-2010 05:51 PM

Well remember I moved the blinkers to the lower tripples first. Then I flipped the mirrors. It takes a bit to get use to the lower mirrors but functionally they still work great.

Rangerscott 08-17-2010 07:56 PM

No tank hitting?

oh yeah that's the kit we ordered was to move the turn signals down to lower triples. they came out with a black kit that should look good on the Iron.

I have to look at this site from home once in awhile so I can see your pics. usually I can see yours but not in this thread.

Just cause you don't show it while riding does not mean it does not exist and cannot be "ridden" ;) :dribble:

marko138 09-01-2010 10:12 PM

can you pull a cart full of beer?

Gas Man 09-03-2010 07:36 AM

I don't think she can pull it, but she use to be a waitress and a bartender, so she can serve it like a mofo.

Na, although beautiful, they are far to large and overbearing. I was thinking maybe more along the lines of an Arabian. Smooth, sleek, and gorgeaus, with just a touch of attitude. ;)
