sidi B2 boots
just got em today for $170. My paycheck wouldn't allow for the vertigo corsa airs (mmmm...) but these will do. They shit all over my a*s smx4. No break-in needed and they're comfy as fuck. Haven't rode em yet but the toe slider contruction looks a lot better than the smx4 which is important cuz I touch my toe down a lot.
Can't put any pics up cuz I'm posting from my phone, but I'll put em up soon. one more thing, anyone know how the b2's compare to the smx plus? That was my other choice... |
I have some Sidi Vertebras that I got on closeout from NewEnough.com. I love em! Sidi was an easy choice for me, since they're my mountain biking shoe of choice as well.
|
I will own the Vertigo Corsas some day.

Actually the more I look at that pic the more I like that color. But alas, no cash. |
yea at first glance the yellow stands out too much, but the more you look at it the more you realize its not too prominent. would be perfect for someone w/ a yellow bike. im sure nts would dig it.
p.s. my bad the price is actually $335 |
Mine have a yellow patch on the front, which matches nothing else I own. It goes unnoticed.

took the boots for a spin in idyllwild yesterday. not bad for the 1st time. the only complaint is the lack of air circulation. these boots are gon cook my feet in the summer.
heres some pix of the b2's http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...1212276020.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...1212276051.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...1212276115.jpg check out these sweet ass scorpion magnums i picked up w/ the boots. $50. http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...1212453734.jpg |
Shit looks nice bro.
|
My feet don't sweat much, so the lack of ventilation doesn't really bother me.

actually i've been to southeast asia in the middle of the summer. its more humid than florida. it took me a whole week to adjust to the breathing there. anyways i know this has nothing to do with the conversation, but you got me there, socal is a pretty dry place...
|
depends on WHERE in South East Asia... Kuwait has it's moments... Qatar is VERY humid... it's been a long time since I was in FL but it was the worst humidity I've ever experienced... and honestly... it didn't bug me for shit... though that could be because I spent it in shorts and a t-shirt at the start of my deployment... and was so ready to go home after... (it was our staging base for our flights back to the US) that NOTHING could bug me
Northern Iraq was dryish... not like Arizona dry... but not as humid as I'd remembered FL or even Connecticut being (my first real intro to humidity... so it may be exaggerated in my memory) all three places you'd sweat like no other... but with Temps in the 120-130 range... humidity or no... your ass is sweating! |
Ugh, I almost forgot about Florida. I was in Ft Lauderdale one summer (I think that's when it was). Man, that place was humid!
|
You ass jackers....we are looking at mid 90's and about upper 90% humidity this weekend in lovely Pennsylvania.
|
You need scuba gear to go outside here right now. We've had something like 5"-6" of rain in the last two weeks.
|
We've got alot of rain this week too. I was gonna ride to work today...but I woke up to rain. This wasn't in the forecast, asshole weathermen.
|
it was thailand and cambodia in july. man i was walking around with a personal fan everywhere i went.
