Leathers. Finally.

So after my first attempt was too small, I got my Teknic Chicane 1-piece in today. It is a little long in the legs, but the torso and arms fit great. The knee armor fits right over my knee when i bend them, although it is below when just standing. I know you want pics.

NONE_too_SOFT 05-29-2008 08:37 PM

puck it up.

t-homo 05-29-2008 08:39 PM

I'll get pucks fairly soon, but sadly probably wont use them for a while.

NONE_too_SOFT 05-29-2008 09:04 PM

dont worry about getting your pucks to the pavement. after i touched down the first time i was so worried about doing it again i made some bad choices and put my bike in a guard rail.

You don't have gauntlet gloves? You should.

truf. gloves before pucks, frodo.

t-homo 05-30-2008 06:59 AM

I am only 5'8", so yes gandolf, I'm pretty short. As soon as I finish paying my parents back for covering the insurance for me, I will be getting gauntlets. College student = NO cash flow.

Mr Lefty 05-30-2008 07:36 AM

ehh 5'8" not that short... from the pics I'd say you were like < 5'5"

I was just gonna ask about you sitting on the R1... if it was tough to flat foot... but at 5'8" I'm sure your fine

shit im 5 10 (almost) and i cant flat foot my cbr w/o pushing my semen farms into my nether regions.

Mr Lefty 05-30-2008 11:58 AM

:idk:... my bike does have a lower seat than the newer SS bikes do... I was able to flat foot real easy on every bike I've sat on... save the BMW Adventure tourers... figure you'd be able to flat foot on the liter bikes but maybe just barely :idk:

Yeah, after i looked back at the pictures, I thought the same thing.

I am the same at NtS, Flat footing requires pain in my crotch. I could go IHS style and drop it to the ground though. That'd be cool as ballsweat.

p00kienrayray 05-30-2008 05:30 PM

Nice gear.

My first pair of gauntlets is in a box somewhere between Kneedraggers and Davenport, with my boots... and I'm in IA...
