VW Buys Suzuki?
 

Has anyone hear of this? Just saw it as someones status on Facebook.

No shit. Buddy of mine had a VW and said it was like owning American dependability with Japanese part prices.

I wonder how the Duc/Tri/BMW crowd will react when a bunch of "gixxers" show up to their European bike nights?

Hmmm, I wonder. I've been denied entry to the Armed Forces Motorcycle Club because I ride a Suzuki, not an American or European bike. Now that my Zuk is owned by a European company, they should let me in, right?

Really? I could understand just "American" but include every continent except Asia?

Specifically, you can't be a member if you ride a "Jap bike." You also can't join if you happen to have a vagina. Yep, no women members. I don't want to join at all, but it'll piss those guys off when I ask about it.

Well hopefully it's just their car line and they leave the motorcycles the fuck alone.

You should get a Hyosung.:?:

VW will have a nonn controlling stake in Suzuki similar to GM's stake.
This benefits VW in emerging markets with micro cars and for Suzuki this opens up diesel engines.

This shouldn't effect motorcycles...
