Ha! My friend couldn't handle the whole DDR experience and bailed.
I got this game for them about a week ago in hopes of us all getting exercise....or at least more than what we're getting now. My son is my main conerned as he's a big boy for his age, but no matter what I've done to get him into something that would give him exercise, he just wasn't interested. He's just doesn't care for sports. Karate helped some when we all took it, but I can't afford for us to take it again right now.
So far that's all they've played since I bought it. Rarely do they play any other game. Padawan (my son) loves to play Final Fantasy and I've only seen him play his new FF games once since we've had DDR.
So far, my plan for getting him doing something more than sitting on his butt playing video games is working. Now he's using his body to play them.
I got two DDR pads so both of the kids are constantly on it. I have to almost beg and plead with one of them to let me play and then they argue over who's going to play mama. I think I've finally done something right with them with getting DDR. :dthumb:
