That'd be a valid argument if the bodywork didn't explode just from getting up to speed on your first outing. This happened to me with two sets of hotbodies at the first WERA round at Fontana this year. The front fairing mounting tabs busted, causing the lower to sag and rub my front tire under braking, which superheated the tire and nearly made me crash. The front fender ripped off on the front straight and put a nice dent in my radiator.
I'll pay the extra $245.

Sounds like you just had shitty luck. There's nothing wrong with the hotbodies I got. Of course, mine don't have "tabs." It lies flat on most of the mounting points, so it really can't break out.
You can't expect any fiberglass fairings to survive a crash. I don't care if they cost $1000.
