I saw that one, and I don't have the remote... it's the team lead's choice. :idk:

From what I've been reading, there is a difference in picture quality between HDMI and component cables, but it depends on the cables. I think they're on 3rd generation cables now that are able to transfer more data than the 2g cables and produce a crisper picture, as well as support for the upcoming 1440p. Whether that's shit or not I'll find out whenever my cables come in. I'm running component cables from my cable box to the tv right now, and will switch over to HDMI and do a comparison.

Well Let me know how well it works. .
I dont know if i want to spend the only on an HDMI cable for the 360 or not
(right now just using the HD component cables)

I've got my 360 hooked up to my computer monitor and it looks really nice. Not sure how it compares to component or HDMI cables though. I suppose I could hook it up to the TV now that we've got an HDTV that'll take component and HDMI, but my Xbox doesn't have HDMI connections on it. The PS3 is definitely getting HDMI though. Damn thing is begging me for a proper setup.

I just got home from work. :)

Must be nice...
An hour and a half left to go... then I'm going home to heat up some ham and stuff.

I learned a couple of years ago that you can't rely on anything to be open on Thanksgiving or Christmas so I stock food a day or two in advance to make myself a holiday-esque meal. Even if it's just me by myself.

Since I only have my aunt and brother left of my family (not including the padawans) and I've been working almost 3 weeks straight, we're eating out. I wasn't going to try tackling a traditional meal with all the OT I've been doing and no days off. The only thing is, there's no place open that's going to be serving the traditional feast. So we're going to eat Chinese. It just so happens my favorite place that has some awesome sushi is open today so we're eating Chinese. Correction: they're eating it. I'm having sushi. Oh yeah....and wasabi.

Hopefully I'll be asleep in about an hour and get at least 5 hours of sleep before having to get up again just in case I don't get a chance to take a good nap before work tonight.
