I don't know the answer to the recouping question but she didn't cash in at the very end.

When they divorced, she took her funds from Madoff. That was a full 2+ years before shit hit the fan.

It's not like she got out "just in time" and he was left holding the bag.

I agree with everyone else, he took his risks and lost. She shouldn't have to pay for it.

The real what if, and this is a big what if: Did she know it was a ponzi scheme? Did she make any statements that she thinks it was a big fake out? Anything like that.


Wait, no. She still got out on her own, cashed in and moved on. Dude is a douche, he lost big. Stop fucking with your ex and move on.
