It's a basic thing and part of the our Bill of Rights. There is no side stepping, misusing it, or go around. That's BS and until more people stand up to it, the govt will continue to abuse us.

Are your international airports federal reservations,down there? Ours are, so a locally passed law would have absolutely no application.

Actually, that's what's really fucked up about the whole thing. They are not federal, and many of them are even privately-owned. The TSA is simply forced upon them, scanners and all.

Of course, the owner of the company who makes the backscatter machines being a personal friend to the President and accompanying him on vacations probably doesn't have anything to do with that.
