Thanks for the tip! These also have a drawstring & a toggle to lock the string tight, but I don't know how well it will work.

Black bungee cords in a criss-cross pattern over the rain covers keeps them from flying away.

Good idea!

I think that the strings will tie together once it's pulled tight... That may help a bit.

I have the Same Tail bag as Derf...It hold an Assfuck amount of stuff...I feel it negates the need for saddle bags...It has side zippers on it that can hold the smaller things.

Def a good setup.

This was my setup riding down to the Rally in 09'

I have the NR tail bag and a medium tank bag. I want the NR saddlebags. The wifey and I will need them for two-up riding. Great review.

I saw a vertical tailbag that slides onto a metal frame that bolts onto your subframe. Easy on, easy off. Gonna have to find out more about it.

Is that the one that goes behind the passenger seat? I looked into those a couple of years ago. Expensive as fuck, but they look awesome

Yeah, over a metal tube hoop. Think it's from some UK or French co.

I'm still happy with the Sears hare case I bought last year. If worked out great last month when we rode to the Gap. $40 for the case and spare passenger seat...

That is the one I wanted to try out. I was gonna get it and fab a bracket to extend behind the passenger seat.
