Yes, we're dorks, and yes we've gone over our response in less than favorable situations.

Good call, give her a false sense of security and she'll never see the trip & shove coming! You'll be long gone before she even figures out what happened!

I can run faster than my wife, our plan is for me to run right in front of her and navigate the path of least resistance, while her job is to stop any stray bullets that might try and hit me.

I would like to see a full video from the moment his SUV came onto the scene. The video only shows the gun out, it doesn't show him pulling it. What if, right before pulling it, he got hit in the head by a snowball with a rock in it?

Unless someone shot at his SUV, I'm not seeing much excuse for pulling a gun. Maybe he slipped when he got out, and it fell out on the ground. Even then, still a dumbass.

This doucher has been a cop for 25 years...you think its the first time he's used the threat of deadly force inappropriately, or just the first time he's been recorded and posted on YouTube? Trying to tell you guys, these kind of people are rampant in police forces around the country.

A police officer in the US has been slapped down by his department after pulling a gun during a mass snowball fight.

Washington DC Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier said the plain-clothed detective’s actions were “totally inappropriate” and that he had been put on desk duty pending an investigation.

It follows the release of footage of the off-duty officer brandishing the weapon after apparently being hit by a snowball on Saturday.

Around 200 people had gathered on Washington DC’s 14th Street to take part in the mass snowball fight.

But the jovial atmosphere took a twist when the plain-clothed policeman brandished his gun after his car was apparently hit.

Amid chants of “Don’t bring a gun to a snowball fight”, the armed man identified himself as “Detective Baylor”.

He told revellers that he pulled his gun “because I got hit with snowballs”.

In footage that was later posted on YouTube, Detective Baylor went on to angrily challenge youngsters to “throw another snowball, throw another snowball”.

The incident ended after a uniformed officer, alerted to reports of an armed man, arrived at the scene.

Yesterday it was announced that the policeman of 25 years – who has not been officially named – has been placed on desk duty and had his badge and weapon withdrawn as a result of the incident.

He could face further action that ranges from a reprimand to dismissal, authorities have said.

Chief Lanier said in a statement: “Let me be very clear in stating that I believe the actions of the officer were totally inappropriate. In no way should he have handled the situation in this manner.”

His behavior is the norm for many police officers.

Not the ones I've been around in my lifetime...maybe where you've been.

Don't get me wrong...there are definitely some asshat police officers but they are not in the majority here. :idk:
