And I fell asleep too. Last night was supposed to have been one of my 4 consecutive nights off in a row. I got a call from work and it turned out to be my ONLY night off. I'll be on all night again tonight.

You know, work can be an abusive relationship.
The only upside is you are getting paid for all the extra time.
You just have to weigh out if being run ragged is worth what you're getting paid.
Although, since you have the kids and Christmas is coming up, I think I already know the answer

Yeah....work till I drop instead of shop till I drop.

I'm a single parent and any amount of OT I can get is always a plus. They know I'll take whatever I can get...or demand (I do that too as soon as I see a possibility for OT  ) If this keeps up and I can get all my finances settled, I may not need to try to find another part time job again. But then, if they keep working me like this, I won't have time for another job.

The thing that really sucks is I'm still not unpacked from moving at the beginning of November. My living area is a fucking mess, filled with unpacked boxes and the bedrooms are just a little better. :(

Hell, I'm NOT a single parent and I'm happy to be getting holiday overtime for the 25th & 26th.
I have at least one purchase to make and I'll be needing a little extra spending money for that cruise.

(oops.. did I mention that again?)

If it weren't for the fact I have 3 plus trips planned this next year, I'd almost be jealous of you! I'll take my bike trips over a cruise any day.

I'll be taking a trip to the fridge shortly.

Ah, that's right. You don't have to take my dad's family on your bike trips.

Although, in honesty, since the Warrior hasn't proven itself to be a comfortable long distance ride (or maybe my lower back and ass aren't long-distance rated), I'll gladly take 24 hr dining, relaxation, and stops at a few Caribbean islands and call it more than even.

For the most part, I'll be going by myself and I really hate riding long distances by myself. All sorts of "what ifs" pop through my mind...and I'm not mechanically apt and female. Although I know I can take care of myself, it still makes me apprehensive. I *know* I can do it and proved it a few times, knowing someone else is there makes me feel much better.

My trip to New Orleans will be with a small group. I'm hoping the ride to Suches, GA for the rally will find me meeting up with some people so I won't have to make THAT long of a trip by myself (this is the one that makes me apprehensive). My planned trip to Austin doesn't bother me that much since I've ridden back twice by myself. I always seem to have someone with my on my way to Austin, never back.
